We only accommodate dogs at Eleven Gables Inn; sorry no cats. Our resident bluetick hound** hunts cats (cougars, raccoons) so would be most 'upset' with a cat on the premises.

Only bring your dog(s) along if you want to vacation with them. Don't bring them if you're to cheap to kennel them or you want to treat them like a doll and leave them in the room alone. They require attention.

Please do not leave your dog alone in the room unless in a crate. Dogs can feel abandoned in a strange place and start to bark and scratch- not cool.

Please get prior approval before making a reservation so we may accommodate you in a room or cottage that is dog accessible, and has it's own private entrance.

Dogs are welcome to swim off the pier or lakeshore; the lake is very clean. Please bring towels to dry the dogs.

 

 

 

**It is with the greatest of sadness that I inform you that Sadie died on 12.3.2008. She was a very good mate.
